INSURANCE CLAIMS • DRYING • REINSTATEMENT

Your Insurance Claim Managed. Your Property Restored.

When your insurer approves the claim and restoration works, you pay nothing towards the approved drying & restoration other than any applicable policy excess. Your dedicated claims manager handles the insurer while all required trades are coordinated for you.

FROM FIRST INVESTIGATION TO FINAL HANDOVER

One Point of Contact. Every Trade Taken Care Of.

After water damage, the last thing you need is to find and manage multiple contractors while chasing your insurer.

Start with WOW. We investigate the source of the escape of water, provide professional findings and connect you with a dedicated claims manager. Once appointed, the claims manager handles communication with your insurer and coordinates the approved drying, building, flooring, plastering, decorating and other necessary restoration trades.

From the initial investigation to the final handover, you have a clear route forward instead of having to organise everyone yourself.

ONLY YOUR POLICY EXCESS

Insurer-approved drying & restoration, without paying the contractors yourself

When the claim and scope of works are approved under the direct-settlement arrangement, the insurer pays for the approved drying & restoration works following completion. You do not fund those works or pay the trades yourself; your only contribution towards them is any applicable policy excess.

This applies to insurer-approved works under the agreed payment arrangement. Additional work outside that scope is not included and would be discussed separately before proceeding.

CLEAR ANSWERS

Insurance Claims & Restoration FAQs

Will I have to pay towards drying & restoration?

Once your insurer approves the claim and the proposed drying & restoration works under the direct-settlement arrangement, you pay nothing towards those approved works except any applicable policy excess. Your claims manager arranges the approved contractors and insurer payment after completion. Any work outside the approved scope would be discussed separately before proceeding.

Who deals with my insurance company?

The regulated claims management work is undertaken by an FCA-authorised third-party specialist, not by WOW. We will explain the arrangement and the identity of the firm before you agree to proceed.

Does the £500 + VAT leak detection survey include restoration?

No. The daytime fixed leak detection survey is £500 + VAT, with evening rates of £600 + VAT and £700 + VAT. Drying, repairs and property reinstatement are separate from the survey and are subject to separate arrangements.

Will my insurer definitely approve my claim?

Approval cannot be guaranteed. Cover depends on your policy, the circumstances of the loss, supporting evidence, insurer assessment, any exclusions and the terms of the settlement.

WOW Leak Detection Plumbing & Heating is not itself FCA-authorised to carry out regulated insurance claims activity. Any regulated service is performed by a separately authorised claims management specialist, subject to engagement terms. WOW remains your first point of contact for enquiries.
