Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to quotations, appointments and work provided by WOW – Ways of Water Plumbing & Heating Ltd. Any written quotation or job-specific agreement takes priority where it expressly differs from these terms.
Quotations and pricing
Quotations are based on the information and access available at the time and are normally valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Hidden conditions, additional faults, access difficulties, parking restrictions, specialist equipment, excavation, moling, reinstatement and materials may require a revised or separate quotation.
Appointments and access
The customer must provide safe and reasonable access, disclose known hazards and ensure that an authorised adult is present where required. Abortive visits, late cancellations or missed appointments may be chargeable.
Payment
Payment is due on completion unless written credit terms have been agreed. Deposits or staged payments may be required for materials, specialist testing or larger works. We may suspend further work where payment is overdue.
Investigations and leak detection
Leak detection is an investigative service and cannot guarantee that every hidden, intermittent or very slow leak will be located during a single visit. Results may depend on system condition, pipe construction, accessibility and whether the leak is active. Further monitoring, isolation, access or staged testing may be recommended and quoted separately.
Insurance reports
Reports record our observations and findings at the time of inspection. The decision to accept a report, authorise work or settle a claim rests with the relevant insurer or loss adjuster.
Workmanship guarantee
Qualifying workmanship is covered for 12 months from completion. The guarantee does not cover unrelated faults, misuse, accidental damage, pre-existing defects, manufacturer failures, blockages caused after completion, customer-supplied materials or work altered by others.
Liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, we are not responsible for pre-existing defects, concealed conditions, unavoidable investigative access, consequential losses, insurer decisions or delays outside our reasonable control.
